La chapelle dépend du château de Coquille construit au 18ème siècle. L'édifice, bénit en 1743, est de plan rectangulaire et édifié en maçonnerie de moellons enduits et couvert d'une toiture en ardoises à deux longs pans et deux pignons droits. La chapelle présente un unique volume intérieur. Le sol est recouvert de tommettes de terre cuite et le plafond d'origine est toujours en place. L'archange guerrier, dédicataire de la chapelle, est représenté dans un cartouche disposé au centre de l'autel. Revêtu de sa cuirasse, il foule Satan des pieds et le maintient au sol au milieu des flammes.

History
The chapel depends on the castle of Coquille built in the 18th century. The building, consecrated in 1743, is of rectangular plan and built of rubble stone masonry rendered and covered with a roof of slate with two long pitches and two straight gables. The chapel presents a single internal volume. The floor is covered with terracotta tiles and the original ceiling is still in place. The warrior archangel, dedicatee of the chapel, is represented in a cartouche placed at the centre of the altar.
