Historique
Edifice roman construit à la fin du 12e ou début du 13e siècle, caractérisé par un plan à nef unique agrandie du 15e au 17e siècle par des chapelles latérales. L'abside en cul de four retombe sur des arcatures à chapiteaux. Le portail sud, qui avait été masqué par les travaux du 17e siècle, présente des ébrasements à ressauts et voussures comportant un arc polylobé selon un modèle rare et circonscrit au Velay. Les chapiteaux de ce portail et ceux du choeur présentent des sculptures à motifs végétaux ou animaliers, relevés par des traces de polychromie. Des sondages ont révélé la présence, dans le choeur et les chapelles, de décors peints à différentes époques (13e siècle, 15e siècle, 17e siècle)

History
Romanesque building constructed in the late 12th or early 13th century, characterized by a plan with a single nave enlarged from the 15th to 17th century by lateral chapels. The apse in cul de four rests on arcatures with capitals. The south portal, which had been masked by the works of the 17th century, presents splays with offsets and voussoirs comprising a polylobed arch according to a rare model and limited to Velay. The capitals of this portal and those of the choir present sculptures with vegetable or animal motifs, highlighted by traces of polychromy. Soundings revealed the presence, in the choir and chapels, of painted decoration from different periods (13th century, 15th century, 17th century)
