En 1856, F. Dorian et J. Holzer décident d'étendre la capacité de production de la société en construisant une nouvelle usine sur le site de l'Alliance. De vastes bâtiments furent construits de 1857 à 1859 par l'architecte et ingénieur civil A. Leroux. La production décline après 1914. History
In 1856, F. Dorian and J. Holzer decided to extend the production capacity of the company by constructing a new factory on the Alliance site. Vast buildings were constructed from 1857 to 1859 by architect and civil engineer A. Leroux. Production declined after 1914. Beyond their architectural interest, the Dorian factories are distinguished by the original nature of their production and by their representative character of industrialization in the mid-19th century.
