History
The original spring was known to the Romans. It is called Fontfort. It is purchased by a silk broker, Auguste Saturnin Badoit, who becomes farmer of the spring in 1837. With the fashion for thermal springs, Auguste Badoit turns towards the distribution of bottled water. The company building is erected in 1868 by Hugues Batillat (1816-1878). Replaced by more modern infrastructure, the building is resold to the commune in 2012.
