L'ancien prieuré comprend encore des restes d'élévations antiques et des maçonneries gallo-romaines dans les sous-sols, traces d'un sanctuaire gallo-romain. Après la période gallo-romaine, le site est abandonné jusqu'à la création du prieuré au 10e siècle, dont il subsiste le logis du prieur, tour quadrangulaire édifiée vers le 15e siècle. History
The former priory still comprises remains of antique elevations and Gallo-Roman masonry in the sub-basements, traces of a Gallo-Roman sanctuary. The town comprises the remains of a complex associating doubtless with the sanctuary thermal baths, a theatre and a hot spring. After the Gallo-Roman period, the site is abandoned until the creation of the priory in the 10th century, of which remains the prior's dwelling, a quadrangular tower built around the 15th century. It is taken up and enlarged at the end of the 15th century (spiral staircase of the hexagonal tower). The building is sold as national property at the Revolution.
