Historique
La paroisse, mentionnée dès le 7e siècle, a appartenu à l'abbaye de Saint-Denis puis à celle de la Trinité de Vendôme. L'église fut totalement reconstruite en 1840 par l'architecte Marganne. C'est un édifice de style classique constitué d'une nef flanquée de deux bas-côtés. De l'église ancienne demeure le clocher. La tour carrée du début du 13e siècle, cantonnée de contreforts et percée d'une baie à l'étage du beffroi, est surmontée d'une flèche octogonale du 14e siècle. A l'intérieur, le rez-de-chaussée est occupé par une salle couverte d'une voûte d'ogives. Dans cette petite salle basse du clocher, a été découverte une peinture murale à la détrempe représentant l'Annonciation. D'autres peintures sont présentes dans cette pièce. Ce décor pourrait dater des années 1300.

History
The parish, mentioned from the 7th century, belonged to the abbey of Saint-Denis and then to that of the Trinity of Vendôme. The church was completely rebuilt in 1840 by architect Marganne. It is a building of classical style consisting of a nave flanked by two aisles. From the old church remains the bell tower. The square tower of the early 13th century, flanked by buttresses and pierced by an opening at the level of the belfry, is surmounted by an octagonal spire of the 14th century. Inside, the ground floor is occupied by a hall covered with a rib vault. In this small low chamber of the bell tower, a mural painting in distemper has been discovered representing the Annunciation. Other paintings are present in this room. This decoration could date from around 1300.
