History
The castle is one of the most interesting fortified houses of the former vicomté of Orthe. Its oldest constructions date back to the 12th century with the bases of the hexagonal tower and the façade wall. The main dwelling is rebuilt in the 17th century and partly remodelled in the 18th century. The castle is surrounded by a set of farm buildings whose organisation around two courtyards remains unchanged.
