Edifice du 14e siècle composé d'une nef charpentée et d'un chevet à pans, l'église de Poyartin fut dotée d'une grosse tour fortifiée au cours de la guerre de Cent Ans, puis augmentée de collatéraux et couverte d'une belle voûte à liernes et tiercerons dans les années 1530. Au 17e siècle un décor classique accompagnait l'aménagement en porche du rez-de-chaussée de la tour.

History
Building of the 14th century composed of a timber nave and a cheveted chevet, the church of Poyartin was furnished with a massive fortified tower during the Hundred Years War, then increased with aisles and covered with a fine vault with lierne and tierceron ribs in the years 1530. In the 17th century classical decoration accompanied the conversion of the ground floor of the tower into a porch.
