Historique
Eglise d'origine romane (choeur à chevet plat) , dotée d'une nef du 13e siècle, et augmentée de collatéraux probablement au début du 16e siècle. Eglise dominée par un clocher-mur. Décor peint en 1942-1943. Outre la peinture de faux marbre qui souligne les éléments architecturaux, il consiste en un chemin de croix dont les tableaux se déroulent tout autour de l'édifice, une grande représentation de la Vierge au coeur de la forêt landaise sur le mur oriental du collatéral, un Agneau pascal en gloire sur le mur du choeur. Dans le choeur se déploie un décor d'inspiration plus naïve. L'édifice réunit toutes les caractéristiques des églises rurales du Gabardan : nef prolongeant exactement le chevet ; clocher-mur occidental très aigu avec abat-son en appentis, tourelle d'escalier établie à l'angle de la façade, presbytère imbriqué dans l'église.

History
Church of Romanesque origin (chevet with flat east end), furnished with a nave of the 13th century, and enlarged with aisles probably in the early 16th century. Church dominated by a porch tower. Painted decoration in 1942-1943. Besides the painting of false marble which emphasizes the architectural elements, it consists of a Way of the Cross whose panels unfold all around the building, a large representation of the Virgin in the heart of the Landes forest on the eastern wall of the aisle, a Lamb in Glory on the wall of the choir. In the choir unfolds a decoration of more naïve inspiration. The building unites all the characteristics of rural churches of Gabardan: nave extending exactly the chevet; highly acute western porch tower with louvered lean-to overhang, staircase turret established at the corner of the façade, presbytery built into the church.
