Historique
Fondé en 1628, le couvent fut reconstruit dans la première moitié du 18e siècle et acquis en 1808 afin d'agrandir l'hôpital. L'édifice, clos de hauts murs, est de plan en grille, formé d'un corps de bâtiment datant du 18e siècle, au sud, d'un autre, bâti au 19e siècle, au nord, les deux étant reliés par un corps intermédiaire remontant au 18e siècle. La pharmacie aménagée dans l'ancien réfectoire, est revêtue de boiseries. Des peintures représentent des instruments de laboratoire et des herbes médicinales. La chapelle est toujours visible. A l'intérieur, on découvre un décor peint figurant des motifs végétaux, des signes religieux ainsi que des inscriptions.

History
Founded in 1628, the convent was rebuilt in the first half of the 18th century and acquired in 1808 in order to enlarge the hospital. The building, enclosed by high walls, is of grid plan, formed of a body of building dating from the 18th century, to the south, another, built in the 19th century, to the north, the two being connected by an intermediate body dating from the 18th century. The pharmacy fitted out in the former refectory is covered with woodwork. Paintings represent laboratory instruments and medicinal herbs. The chapel is still visible. Inside, one discovers painted decoration featuring vegetable motifs, religious symbols as well as inscriptions.
