History
The clos of Brandans was part of the fiefs of the count of Chalon in 1233. The wine economy was the origin of the building. In the 14th century, the tower comprises a cellar, a low chamber and four turrets. The 16th century gave the château its present form. The building of U-plan integrates the cellar and the low chamber vaulted from the medieval tower. A winding staircase tower serves the main body of building, which retains two circular towers on the angles of the former gable. In the 19th century, the north wing of the outhouses was developed.
