History
Discovered in the 1960s, the thermal building distinguishes itself by its exceptional state of preservation, indicated by heights of masonry which appear beneath the copse at more than 4 m in height. The trial trenches opened in 2012 made it possible to grasp its overall plan, its stratigraphy, the disposition and decoration of its principal spaces. The scale of the building, the thickness of its masonry and the luxury of its decoration argue for public baths rather than for a private establishment attached to a villa.
