Historique
Le corps de logis, dit aussi "ancien château", était le centre de la seigneurie et ferme de Parçay, ancienne possession de l'abbaye de Marmoutiers. Il se présente comme une vaste construction rectangulaire, terminée par des murs pignons, et percée de multiples baies, dont certaines à meneaux. Sous l'édifice subsiste une série de caves reliées par de longs escaliers descendant sous terre. En 1791, le bâtiment fut vendu comme bien ecclésiastique.

History
The main dwelling, also called the "old château", was the centre of the seigneury and farm of Parçay, an old possession of the abbey of Marmoutiers. It is presented as a vast rectangular construction, terminated by gable walls, and pierced with multiple openings, some with mullions. Beneath the building subsist a series of cellars linked by long staircases descending underground. In 1791, the building was sold as ecclesiastical property.
