Inaugurée en 1908, l'église est due à l'architecte Arthur Regnault (1839-1932), et fut construite à l'emplacement d'une église plus ancienne. Certains éléments de l'édifice précédent ont été remployés et ou déplacés : une partie du choeur du XIIe siècle, le bras nord du transept, le portail du XVe siècle, une partie de galerie de cloître gothique. L'église est dotée d'un clocher latéral. La présence inhabituelle de coupoles rappelle les édifices de Charente.

History
Inaugurated in 1908, the church is by architect Arthur Regnault (1839-1932), and was built on the site of an older church. Certain elements of the previous building have been reused and or relocated: a part of the 12th-century choir, the north arm of the transept, the 15th-century portal, a part of Gothic cloister gallery. The church is equipped with a lateral bell tower. The unusual presence of domes recalls buildings in Charente.
