Historique
Château de style néo-gothique construit entre 1895 et 1900 par l'architecte Henri Mellet, s'inspirant des manoirs de la fin du Moyen-Age. Il s'élève à l'emplacement de l'ancien manoir, détruit dans la seconde moitié du 19e siècle. L'édifice adopte un plan irrégulier, avec un corps central rectangulaire, encadré de deux grandes ailes en légère saillie formant pignon, et flanqué d'une tour demi hors-uvre en façade. La distribution intérieure n'a pas été modifiée, et la décoration des pièces associe des éléments des 18e et 19e siècles (boiseries à panneaux peints). Un escalier en bois en retour d'équerre dessert les deux étages supérieurs. Les nombreuses dépendances se déploient au nord du logis, délimitant une cour pavée qui correspond probablement à celle de l'ancien manoir. Un ancien potager s'étend à l'arrière des communs.

History
Neo-Gothic castle built between 1895 and 1900 by the architect Henri Mellet, inspired by the manors of the late Middle Ages. It stands on the site of the former manor, destroyed in the second half of the 19th century. The building adopts an irregular plan, with a central rectangular body, framed by two large wings in slight projection forming gables, and flanked by a semi-projecting tower on the façade. The interior distribution has not been modified, and the decoration of the rooms combines elements of the 18th and 19th centuries (panelled woodwork with painted panels). A wooden staircase in a right-angled return serves the two upper storeys. The numerous outbuildings are deployed to the north of the dwelling, delimiting a paved courtyard which probably corresponds to that of the former manor. An old kitchen garden extends to the rear of the outbuildings.
