Historique
Située dans les monts de l'Espinousse, aux alentours de 800m d'altitude sur la route de Fraïsse à Baïssescure, dans un vallon orienté Nord-Sud. L'expertise cadastrale de 1837, date portée sur les linteaux des portes du pailher et de l'habitation, utilise le terme de "médiocre" pour qualifier son économie : ses terres se composaient de terres labourables destinées au seigle et un grand nombre de prés, nécessaires aux troupeaux : des bois, des pâtures, des hermes et des landes. L'ensemble est exposé au Nord avec l'habitation principale implantée sur un axe Est-Ouest perpendiculairement au pailher à l'Ouest, en son milieu formant avec celui-ci un plan en T, et délimite deux espaces : la cour de la ferme au Sud et le jardin potager au Nord. Des haies protègent chacun de ces espaces. Le bâtiment principal est cantonné, à l'est d'un four et à l'Ouest, d'un petit pailher à usage de petite étable, poulailler ou soue à cochon.

History
Located in the Espinousse hills, at an altitude of around 800m on the road from Fraïsse to Baïssescure, in a valley oriented North-South. The cadastral survey of 1837, a date inscribed on the lintels of the doors of the hay-barn and the dwelling, uses the term "mediocre" to qualify its economy: its lands consisted of arable land intended for rye and a large number of meadows, necessary for livestock: woods, pastures, heaths and moorlands. The whole is exposed to the North with the main dwelling situated on an East-West axis perpendicular to the hay-barn to the West, in its middle forming with it a T-shaped plan, and delimiting two spaces: the farm courtyard to the South and the kitchen garden to the North. Hedges protect each of these spaces. The main building is flanked, to the east by an oven and to the West, by a small hay-barn for use as a small stable, henhouse or pigsty.
