Construit pour René d'Audessan, ancien maître d'hôtel du roi puis conseiller à la cour des comptes, aides et finances, il abrita ensuite comme locataire l'intendant de la Province Nicolas Lamoignon de Basville, entre 1685 et 1718.
Description
Un des premiers hôtels à la française construit en Languedoc oriental. Il ne subsiste du parti originel que l'ordonnance en U des bâtiments et quelques motifs épargnés sur les façades des ailes, dont les lucarnes passantes, la corniche (traitée en forme d'échine ionique), la porte donnant accès à l'escalier ainsi que l'escalier lui-même.

Built for René d'Audessan, former chief steward to the king then counsellor to the court of audit, aids and finances, it subsequently housed as a tenant the intendant of the Province Nicolas Lamoignon de Basville, between 1685 and 1718.
Description
One of the first hotels in the French style built in eastern Languedoc. Of the original scheme only the U-shaped arrangement of the buildings and a few motifs spared on the facades of the wings remain, including the continuous dormers, the cornice (treated in the form of an Ionic echinus), the door giving access to the staircase as well as the staircase itself.
