Le moulin est édifié sur une plate-forme artificielle talutée (les bâtiments et la terrasse de soutènement sont réalisés avec les débris des matériaux d'exploitation) ; le mécanisme a disparu. Technical testimony of the use of wind energy for the sawing of marble. Importance for the history of construction of the marble extractions of the Minervois. The site groups together the ruins of the windmill, the buildings and ancillary arrangements, notably the ruins of dwelling below, and quarries, as well as a spring (which supplied the potager of the quarrymen). The mill is built on an artificial terraced platform (the buildings and the retaining terrace are made with the debris of the extraction materials); the mechanism has disappeared. The spring is provided with a vault in corbelling.
