History
Property of the de Sèze family since 1625, the estate remained for several generations in the same family before passing to deputy Adolphe Charoulet. The small 18th-century chartreuse with its wings of outbuildings in return angles was remodelled in the late 19th century and early 20th century. The main dwelling is heightened and embellished with a central pavilion with a roof with four slopes. These transformations should be read as manifestations of the development of wine-making activity, evident throughout the Saint-Emilionnais. The whole is undergoing restoration.
