Edifiée de 1909 à 1913 selon les plans de larchitecte bordelais Auguste Bontemps, la halle se compose de deux éléments : les galeries extérieures et, au centre, une verrière recouverte dun toit à deux pans. Les galeries ouvertes sont soutenues par des piliers en fonte aux quatre angles ainsi que deux piliers supplémentaires au milieu des côtés. Quatre portes monumentales en pierre, surmontées dun fronton triangulaire, occupent le centre des côtés.

History
Built from 1909 to 1913 according to the plans of Bordeaux architect Auguste Bontemps, the hall comprises two elements: the external galleries and, in the centre, a glazed roof covered with a two-slope roof. The open galleries are supported by cast-iron pillars at the four corners as well as two additional pillars in the middle of the sides. Four monumental stone doors, surmounted by a triangular pediment, occupy the centre of the sides.
