History
A first stoneware pottery is mentioned in the years 1750 as belonging to the noble estate of Rouillac. The current bottle-shaped kilns are two in number and date from the end of the 19th century, a third kiln having been destroyed. The kilns were active until 1955. One of them is located in front of the building, the other is sheltered inside. Heated by wood, they comprise two levels separated by a sole perforated with holes. The pottery was bought back in 1982 by the commune and operates again.
