Historique

History
The present château was entirely rebuilt around 1870 on the site of a 14th-century château, remodelled in the 16th century. The avenues leading to the château open onto the northern terrace, former inner courtyard of the outbuildings, at the corner of which the chapel was built in neo-gothic style. On the northern elevation, a central section is framed on each side by a pentagonal tower, itself flanked by a projecting rectangular pavilion. The southern elevation repeats the same arrangement, with the exception of the towers. Some interior decoration has been preserved. Outbuildings extend to the east of the château, in the form of two rectangular buildings separated by a courtyard. A circular dovecote rises in the corner. Stables were built to the north. To the north of the château traditional and viticultural activities are deployed around which avenues and crossroads are organised. To the east, a naturalistic perspective in the valley descending towards the south, composes a large landscaped park.
