History
In June 1944, a group of FFI withdrew into the abandoned farm. Attacked on 14 July by the Germans, the farm was destroyed and the resistance fighters were murdered. A monument was erected on the ruins by the architect Mery-Riboulet. It is an obelisk each face of which is decorated with a sculpture by Armande Marty, a pupil of Bourdelle. With a height of nearly eight metres, they represent Victory, Courage, Faith and Sacrifice. Next to a remaining wall of the farm stands a portico bearing the names of the victims and a dedication.
