Fondation la plus importante en Entre-Deux-Mers de l'abbaye de la Sauve-Majeure. Eglise d'origine romane (mur sud en partie du 11e siècle) , reconstruite au 14e siècle (nef unique à chevet plat et façade occidentale à clocher-mur). Vers la fin du 15e ou au début du 16e siècle, construction du bas-côté nord et transformation du clocher-mur en clocher-tour. Les peintures du choeur datent du milieu du 19e siècle. Côté sud, subsistent les restes du prieuré médiéval.

History
Most important foundation in Entre-Deux-Mers of the abbey of La Sauve-Majeure. Church of Romanesque origin (south wall partly of the 11th century), rebuilt in the 14th century (single nave with flat chevet and western facade with bell wall). Towards the end of the 15th or beginning of the 16th century, construction of the north aisle and transformation of the bell wall into a bell tower. The paintings of the choir date from the middle of the 19th century. On the south side, remain the remains of the medieval priory.
