Lieu de pèlerinage depuis le 16e siècle, son architecture de transition entre lart gothique et la Renaissance est de belle qualité ainsi que son décor peint et sculpté. Son mobilier, protégé au titre des objets, est remarquable. Le portail du bâtiment au sud-est de la chapelle témoigne de larchitecture et de la sculpture de la Renaissance toulousaine.

History
A building of the early sixteenth century, the chapel of Cahuzac was erected after an appearance to a shepherd, in 1513, of a representation of the Virgin of Sorrows in an elm tree. A place of pilgrimage since the 16th century, its architecture of transition between Gothic art and the Renaissance is of fine quality as is its painted and sculptured decoration. Its furnishings, protected as objects, are remarkable. The portal of the building to the south-east of the chapel bears witness to the architecture and sculpture of the Toulouse Renaissance.
