History
This construction, both original and picturesque, very probably dates back to the 19th century. It is traditionally given the appellation of pigeonnier-octroi. Conceived according to a triangular plan, its very unusual role as an octroi as well as the subtlety of the treatment of its masonry distinguish it from other pigeonniers of the Gers. It also presents two terracotta heads at the lower part of the hip rafters. Finally, a fountain-lavoir as well as an old basin complete the whole.
