Architecture et décor typiques du 18e siècle, reconstruite sur un édifice antérieur médiéval. Le château s'ordonne autour d'une cour carrée développant les trois ailes principales, fermées au sud par un corps de portique couvert en terrasse, enserrée par les façades des deux ailes latérales flanquées de leurs tours d'angle. L'aile nord est occupée par l'escalier d'honneur dont la rampe est un bel exemple d'ouvrage en fer forgé de la fin du 18e. Les pièces à vivre sont réparties dans les ailes Est et ouest. Les chambres s'ornent d'un décor 18e avec alcôve, cheminées, gypseries, boiseries, plafonds à solives apparentes. Les pièces de service, dont la cuisine, sont au sous-sol, dans des salles voûtées. A l'ouest du château se trouvait une grange. Un bâtiment bordant la rue du village abritait les communs. Au sud se trouvait la chapelle castrale.

History
Architecture and decoration typical of the 18th century, rebuilt on an earlier medieval edifice. The château is organised around a square courtyard developing the three main wings, closed to the south by a body of covered portico on a terrace, enclosed by the façades of the two lateral wings flanked by their corner towers. The north wing is occupied by the grand staircase whose handrail is a fine example of wrought ironwork from the end of the 18th century. The living quarters are distributed in the east and west wings. The bedrooms are decorated with 18th-century decoration with alcove, fireplaces, plasterwork, wainscoting, ceilings with exposed beams. The service rooms, including the kitchen, are in the basement, in vaulted rooms. To the west of the château there was a barn. A building bordering the village street housed the outbuildings. To the south there was the castle chapel.
