Historique

History
Exploited since the 16th century, the springs experienced significant attendance during the second half of the 19th century, continuing into the 1930s. Renowned for the treatment of malaria, they welcomed in particular a colonial clientele. Several establishments succeeded one another until the construction of the current building in 1882, according to the project of the architect Terrade. In the 1970s, conversion into a holiday centre led to the disappearance of the arrangements and equipment related to thermalism. With the frescoes executed by Nicolas Greschny in the early 1950s, the refreshment bar remains the element that best recalls the thermal vocation of the place.
