Halle construite en 1822-1825 par l'architecte Antoine Cambon, adoptant un plan rectangulaire se terminant à chaque extrémité par deux hémicycles, de style néo-classique. La halle s'ouvre par vingt-deux arcades en plein cintre, sept pour chaque hémicycle et quatre pour chaque face latérale. L'espace intérieur est divisé en trois vaisseaux par deux files de colonnes et de piliers, formant en partie centrale quatre travées. Le vaisseau central est plus large que les vaisseaux latéraux. La maçonnerie de briques repose sur des assises inférieures en pierre.

History
Market hall built in 1822-1825 by architect Antoine Cambon, adopting a rectangular plan ending at each end with two hemispheres, in neo-classical style. The hall opens by twenty-two round-arched arcades, seven for each hemisphere and four for each lateral face. The interior space is divided into three vaisseaux by two rows of columns and pillars, forming four bays in the central part. The central vaisseau is wider than the lateral vaisseaux. The brick masonry rests on lower stone courses.
