Historique
Couvent de cisterciennes trappistines élevé de 1860 à 1880 d'après les plans de Henry Bach. En 1939, des dominicaines succèdent au trappistines. Des travaux de restauration sont exécutés dès 1945. Le peintre verrier Louis Mazetier exécute 19 verrières en grisaille, et deux grands vitraux colorés évoquant les Mystères du Rosaire. L'artiste réalise également un ensemble de peintures murales : frise du Chemin de Croix autour de la nef des fidèles, panneau de la Geste dominicaine dans le choeur. Ce décor expressionniste est réalisé d'octobre 1946 à novembre 1951.

History
Convent of Cistercian Trappist nuns built from 1860 to 1880 according to the plans of Henry Bach. In 1939, Dominican nuns succeeded the Trappists. Restoration work was executed from 1945 onwards. The stained-glass artist Louis Mazetier executed 19 grisaille windows, and two large coloured windows evoking the Mysteries of the Rosary. The artist also created a series of murals: frieze of the Stations of the Cross around the nave of the faithful, panel of the Dominican Deeds in the choir. This expressionist decoration was realized from October 1946 to November 1951.
