Cet ancien couvent est englobé avec le fort dans de nouvelles fortifications. La communauté est reconnue en juillet 1855. La première pierre de la chapelle est posée le 15 mai 1862 par Mgr Plantier et l'édifice est consacré le 22 septembre 1864. Elle est l'oeuvre de l'architecte diocésain Henry Révoil.
Description
La demeure du 18e siècle comprend un niveau sur rez-de-chaussée et un attique aveugle couronné par une génoise. Elle a conservé ses baies en arc surbaissé et la plupart de ses menuiseries. L'ensemble est enduit sauf les corniches, les encadrements de baies et les tableaux sous les fenêtres du 1er niveau qui sont en pierre. Cette demeure dispose d'un jardin étagé en terrasses à cause de la dénivellation du terrain. La chapelle a un volume important avec une nef centrale et deux latérales surmontées de tribune. Les statues et le pignon émaillé ont été fourni par la fabrique Virebent, la sculpteur décorative est due à Colin. Un petit tableau du Christ sur fond d'or de Melchior Doze (1827-1913), daté de 1864, était enchâssé dans l'autel mais il a déispru. Dans les bas-côtés ont été ajoutés des panneaux peints par Joseph Beaufort en 1927 sur l'histoire de Jeanne de Thouret (1765-1826), fondatrice de l'ordre.

This former convent is enclosed with the fort in new fortifications. The community was recognised in July 1855. The first stone of the chapel was laid on 15 May 1862 by Mgr Plantier and the building was consecrated on 22 September 1864. It is the work of the diocesan architect Henry Révoil.
Description
The 18th-century dwelling comprises one storey over a ground floor and a blind attic crowned by a Genoese cornice. It has retained its depressed arch openings and most of its joinery. The whole is rendered except the cornices, the framing of openings and the panels below the windows of the 1st storey which are in stone. This dwelling has a terraced garden because of the slope of the land. The chapel has a substantial volume with a central nave and two lateral aisles topped by a gallery. The statues and the enamelled gable were provided by the Virebent works, the decorative sculpture is by Colin. A small painting of Christ on a gold ground by Melchior Doze (1827-1913), dated 1864, was set into the altar but has disappeared. In the aisles were added painted panels by Joseph Beaufort in 1927 on the story of Jeanne de Thouret (1765-1826), foundress of the order.
