Ce bâtiment est bien documenté par les archives nationales, départementales et municipales (série M) communiquées par Bernard Atger, président de l'association du patrimoine gallagois. Le temple construit sur l'ancien château domine le village et jouxte la tour médiévale classée au titre des Monuments qui faisait partie du château. Le projet est fourni par Yzombard, arhcitecte de Lunel et est accepté en 1809 par le conseil des bâtiments civils avec de nombreuses modifications.
Description
Le temple forme un grand bâtiment rectangualire avec une entrée centrale marquée par un perron et un porche soutenu par quatre colonnes doriques. Des pilastres encadrent la porte d'entrée en plein cintre et les angles et l'avant-corps central sont soulignés de refends.

History
This building is well documented by national, departmental and municipal archives (series M) provided by Bernard Atger, president of the Gallac heritage association. The temple constructed on the former castle overlooks the village and adjoins the classified medieval tower which was part of the castle. The project is provided by Yzombard, architect of Lunel and is accepted in 1809 by the council of civil buildings with numerous modifications.
Description
The temple forms a large rectangular building with a central entrance marked by a flight of steps and a porch supported by four Doric columns. Pilasters frame the entrance door in round arch and the angles and central projection are underlined by rustication.
