Cet escalier du milieu du 19ème siècle, est formé dun large palier doù partent deux volées parallèles avec repos aboutissant au quai. La référence médiévale du décor saccorde aux deux églises jouxtant lescalier ainsi quau pont (motif de bandes lombardes avec lésènes et arcatures aveugles). Le grand palier central est soutenu par sept arcades reposant sur des culots sculptés.

History
This staircase from the mid-19th century is formed of a wide landing from which two parallel flights with landings depart, leading to the quay. The medieval reference of the decoration accords with the two churches adjoining the staircase as well as with the bridge (motif of Lombard bands with lesènes and blind arcatures). The large central landing is supported by seven arcades resting on sculpted consoles.
