History

The present castle has an L-shaped plan with, in the angle, a dwelling that formerly formed part of the castle but was separated from it in the 18th century. A large gateway provides access to the service courtyard. The castle extends into the north angle while the service buildings occupy the entire south side. The castle façade presents two distinct parts in height: the East part, reserved for services; to the west, the 17th century construction with its corner tower. This building is pierced by a large bay with balcony, opened in the 19th century. The two cross-windows correspond to the staircase cage and are slightly off-centre. The façade on the park was reworked in the 19th century (bays, balcony) and made symmetrical with the construction of the north tower. The park was essentially wooded in the 19th century.
