La richesse et l'accumulation du mobilier sont représentatifs des aménagements intérieurs bourgeois constitués sous Napoléon III. Henri Conneau, médecin personnel de Napoléon III, a rehaussé en 1853 le casone d'un étage de réception lors de son mariage et fait réaliser à cette occasion un jardin paysager. L'intérieur rassemble, de part et d'autre d'un escalier central rampe sur rampe, des pièces d'habitation en enfilade avec peintures murales, un séchoir à châtaignes ainsi qu'un fucone vraisemblablement antérieurs et bien conservés.

History
The house belongs to the type of large dwellings of notable persons built in stages from the 18th to the 19th century.
