La tour s'inscrit dans la typologie des " case forte " qui formaient souvent le noyau des villages du 14e au 16e siècle. Ces maisons appartenaient à des notables ruraux ou à des familles nobiliaires. History
The tower fits within the typology of "case forte" which often formed the nucleus of villages from the 14th to 16th century. These houses belonged to rural notables or noble families. Although the case forte were not fortresses, the defensive characteristics of the tower are expressed by its overhanging position, above the old path leading to the village, and the bretèche on the north-east façade, above the main entrance door. Of almost square plan, the tower is built of granite rubble stone. The interior space was divided into three levels, separated by floors. The roof was in two pitches, covered with barrel tiles.
