Cette croix monumentale haute de 4 mètres, est située au lieu-dit Kergompez, le long de la route nationale. Soubassement, socle et fût sont en granit ; le socle porte la date de 1773 et l'inscription E. Combot. Le Christ en croix, en kersantite, est représenté les pieds l'un à côté de l'autre ; la figure du Christ est située au-dessous du croisillon, les bras fortement dirigés vers le haut. Selon une étude portant sur le Finistère, le 18e siècle est d'une pauvreté déconcertante du point de vue des croix et des calvaires. La croix de Kergompez est la seule à dater du 18e siècle parmi les quatorze recensées à Saint-Pol-de-Léon.

History
This monumental cross, 4 metres high, is situated at the place called Kergompez, along the national road. Base, plinth and shaft are in granite; the plinth bears the date 1773 and the inscription E. Combot. The Crucifix in kersantite is represented with the feet one beside the other; the figure of Christ is situated below the crossarm, the arms strongly directed upwards. According to a study concerning Finistère, the 18th century is distressingly poor from the point of view of crosses and calvaries. The cross of Kergompez is the only one to date from the 18th century among the fourteen listed at Saint-Pol-de-Léon.
