History
The reconstruction of the castle in the early 18th century is attributed to René II Choppin, lieutenant criminal at the Châtelet de Paris. Deep remodelling was carried out there around 1780. Following a fire in 1848, the front section was restored and strengthened by a wide balcony supported by a colonnade.
