Premières mentions du moulin en 1396 et 1407. Le moulin est situé sur une dérivation du cours de l'Eure où se trouvaient les pêcheries et les canaux partant vers le château. A la porte à bateau était associé le droit de péage pour toutes les marchandises montant et descendant. Au début du 19e siècle, transformations sur les vannages et implantation de la route départementale qui fait disparaître le château, ses dépendances et tronque les canaux et allées d'arbres qui complétaient les jardins.

History
First mentions of the mill in 1396 and 1407. The mill is situated on a branch of the Eure where the fisheries and canals leading towards the castle were located. Associated with the boat gate was the right of toll for all goods going up and down. At the beginning of the 19th century, alterations to the sluice gates and construction of the departmental road, which caused the castle, its outbuildings to disappear and cut across the canals and tree-lined alleys which complemented the gardens.
