Château de Beaumontel, château de Beaumont-la-Ville sont les dénominations figurant sur les cartes postales des années 1905 à l'époque où le domaine a été remanié par Albert Parissot, sénateur de l'Eure. On lui doit en effet la création du parc avec boulingrin, diverses fabriques, l'agrandissement et la mise en scène du château avec perspective de tilleuls et grille d'honneur (auj. disparue), la construction des communs et serres. En 1948, le domaine est acquis par Robert Hervieu, agriculteur. Il fait appel à Robert Feuillade (architecte) pour réparer la demeure endommagée par les bombardements et fait construire un vaste bâtiment d'élevage en béton brut surmonté de greniers à foin et à grain qui réunit dans un même volume : l'étable, mangeoires, abreuvoirs, système d'évacuation du purin, salle de préparation des aliments et infirmerie. Ce bâtiment d'exception valut à la ferme d'être appelée la ferme neuve. C'est un témoin précoce de l'évolution du monde agricole.

History
Château de Beaumontel, château de Beaumont-la-Ville are the designations appearing on postcards from 1905 onwards, at the time when the estate was remodelled by Albert Parissot, senator of the Eure. He was responsible for the creation of the park with bowling green, various ornamental buildings, the enlargement and staging of the château with a perspective of linden trees and ceremonial gate (now disappeared), the construction of the outbuildings and greenhouses. In 1948, the estate is acquired by Robert Hervieu, farmer. He calls upon Robert Feuillade (architect) to repair the dwelling damaged by bombing and has constructed a vast livestock building in raw concrete topped with hay and grain barns which brings together in the same volume: the cattle shed, mangers, drinking troughs, liquid manure evacuation system, food preparation room and infirmary. This exceptional building earned the farm to be called the new farm. It is early evidence of the evolution of the agricultural world.
