Historique
L'église remonte au 13e siècle. Le fief dépend des évêques d'Avranches du fait de leur baronnie de Saint-Philbert. L'édifice est en partie reconstruit après la guerre de Cent ans. De plan rectangulaire, il se compose d'une tour clocher (1886) appuyée contre la nef en maçonnerie alternée de silex et calcaire formant décor. Ce mur présente de nombreux graffiti, plusieurs compositions avec personnages et animaux, ainsi qu'un rebus sur le thème de l'injustice du monde, le tout réalisé au 16e siècle en éclats de silex noir. La nef se prolonge par le choeur éclairé de baies en tiers point à remplages, et chevet plat. Nef et choeur sont éclairés par une série de vitraux datés de 1895-1910, réalisés par Duhamel-Marette et Muraire.

History
The church dates from the 13th century. The fief depends on the bishops of Avranches by virtue of their barony of Saint-Philbert. The building is partly rebuilt after the Hundred Years' War. Of rectangular plan, it comprises a bell tower (1886) leaning against the nave in masonry alternating flint and limestone forming a decorative pattern. This wall presents numerous graffiti, several compositions with figures and animals, as well as a rebus on the theme of the world's injustice, all executed in the 16th century in splinters of black flint. The nave is extended by the choir lit by pointed arch openings with tracery, and a flat chevet. Nave and choir are lit by a series of stained glass windows dated 1895-1910, executed by Duhamel-Marette and Muraire.
