History
This dwelling was erected in 1864 for Cyriaque Lécuyer, ribbon manufacturer. It was enlarged from 1894 to 1896 by the architect Rouvray, who drew up the plans for the veranda, which comprises a register of large paintings on canvas executed in 1896-1897 and a set of Art Nouveau stained glass windows. The whole illustrates the trends of Japonisme (the paintings are inspired by prints of Hiroshige).
