Le prieuré de Montaure fut octroyé à l'abbaye de St Ouen de Rouen en 1063. Construite dans la seconde moitié du 11e siècle, l'église Notre-Dame est de plan cruciforme, dotée d'une crypte sous le choeur. Le logis prioral, construction de la seconde moitié du 17e siècle (?) , constitue le seul témoignage des bâtiments de l'enclos. Le mur d'enclos est mal préservé dans son ensemble, à l'exception de son portail.

History
The priory of Montaure was granted to the abbey of St Ouen of Rouen in 1063. Built in the second half of the 11th century, the church of Notre-Dame is of cruciform plan, fitted with a crypt under the choir. The prioral dwelling, construction from the second half of the 17th century (?), constitutes the only testimony of the buildings of the enclosure. The enclosure wall is poorly preserved as a whole, with the exception of its gateway.
