Historique

History
Philippe Bigot de la Turgère, counsellor to the parliament of Normandy, had built from 1684 a château, whose construction was interrupted in 1689. The plan and elevation are signed by Gennevois. A vast landscape composition was put in place from the construction of the château (park, avenues, forecourt and court of honour). Modifications took place in the 18th and 19th centuries (secondary dwelling in the 18th century, addition of a wing to the north of the château in the 19th century - since disappeared and rebuilt in 1949). The whole is characterized by fine brick and stone architecture.
