L'édifice antérieur est une motte féodale du 11e ou du 12e siècle. Le château a été reconstruit vers 1725 pour François Duvert, trésorier de France au bureau des finances de Rouen. History
The earlier building is a feudal motte of the 11th or 12th century. The castle was rebuilt around 1725 for François Duvert, treasurer of France at the bureau of finances of Rouen. The gardens were laid out between 1731 and 1745. The castle was enlarged between 1850 and 1860 (wings added to the main dwelling). The outbuildings are of the 18th and 19th centuries. Inside the castle were frescoes painted by Paul Baudouin in 1906, which were removed. After 1880 there were undertaken the enrichment of the park and the construction of a modern agricultural establishment, for Georges Duméril. The building was restored from 1991 by Jean-Pierre Jouve, after documentary and historical research.
