Historique
Le château est cité pour la première fois dans les archives au milieu du 14e siècle. Pillé et détruit en 1351, 1543 et 1637. A la Révolution, l'édifice fut vendu comme bien national et transformé en exploitation agricole. Le château réunit un ensemble de bâtiments sur quatre côtés autour d'une cour, au centre de laquelle se trouve une citerne. Les côtés nord et sud sont percés presque en vis à vis chacun d'un porche défendu au sud par une barbacane, aux murs à bossages, tandis qu'au nord plusieurs éléments rappellent l'existence d'un pont-levis. L'aspect militaire est renforcé par la présence de nombreuses canonnières. A l'ouest, une grande galerie sur arcades datée de 1611 conserve des fragments de décor peint.

History
The castle is cited for the first time in the archives in the middle of the 14th century. Pillaged and destroyed in 1351, 1543 and 1637. At the Revolution, the building was sold as national property and converted into an agricultural operation. The castle brings together a range of buildings on four sides around a courtyard, in the centre of which is found a cistern. The north and south sides are pierced almost directly opposite each other by each a porch defended to the south by a barbican, with bossed walls, whilst to the north several elements recall the existence of a drawbridge. The military aspect is reinforced by the presence of numerous gun-loops. To the west, a large gallery on arcades dated 1611 preserves fragments of painted decoration.
