Historique
Eglise construite de 1929 à 1932 sur les plans de l'architecte bénédictin Dom Paul Bellot assisté par l'architecte Marcel Hézard. De plan en croix latine, l'église comprend un large porche entre un clocher et une tour d'escalier à vis, une nef de trois travées, un large transept et un choeur à abside polygonale. L'ossature de l'édifice est constituée d'arcs formés de segments rectilignes portant des poutres horizontales en béton armé. Les supports des arcs, doublés par des contreforts intérieurs ajourés de claustras déterminent des passages latéraux élargissant la nef. Les murs extérieurs se composent d'une double paroi faite de brique polychrome à l'intérieur, et à l'extérieur de carreaux de pierre locale reconstituée de deux couleurs. Des voiles fins de béton couvrent l'ensemble de sortes de voûtes à facettes peintes de différentes couleurs.

History
Church built from 1929 to 1932 on the plans of Benedictine architect Dom Paul Bellot assisted by architect Marcel Hézard. Of Latin cross plan, the church comprises a wide porch between a bell tower and a spiral staircase tower, a nave of three bays, a wide transept and a choir with polygonal apse. The framework of the building consists of arches formed of rectilinear segments bearing horizontal reinforced concrete beams. The supports of the arches, doubled by interior buttresses pierced with claustra lattices determine lateral passages widening the nave. The outer walls consist of a double skin made of polychrome brick inside, and outside of tiles of local reconstituted stone of two colours. Thin concrete shells cover the whole forming sorts of faceted vaults painted in different colours.
