Petit bâtiment de plan rectangulaire, couvert en pavillon, comprenant un rez-de-chaussée et un étage en encorbellement côté rivière, et une galerie à balustrade côté ville. L'étage est constitué d'une pièce couverte d'une voûte en arc de cloître en bois, entièrement couverte de scènes peintes allégoriques, représentant les quatre parties du monde qui s'inspirent de l'Iconologie de Cesare Ripa. History
Small building of rectangular plan, covered in pavilion, comprising a ground floor and a storey in corbel on the river side, and a gallery with balustrade on the town side. The storey is made up of a room covered with a cloister vault of wood, entirely covered with allegorical painted scenes, representing the four parts of the world which are inspired by the Iconology of Cesare Ripa. These decorations can be dated between 1685 and 1696. The lodge was often a simple construction, in which crops and tools were stored. At Montbéliard, these loges became veritable pleasure pavilions.
