Edifice du 16e siècle représentatif de l'architecture rurale traditionnelle de la région de Saint-Hippolyte (tué en pierre sur arcs posés sur une colonne). Certains caractères atypiques semblent indiquer le statut social particulier de son commanditaire (avant-corps équipé sur deux niveaux de larges cheminées en pierre, et de baies à coussièges). Bâtiment de plan rectangulaire, avec un pavillon formant avant-corps à l'angle sud. Au sud se trouvent les habitations, au nord la partie agricole avec écuries et granges. Jusqu'en 1964, le bâtiment était couvert en lave.

History
Building of the 16th century representative of the traditional rural architecture of the Saint-Hippolyte region (killed stone on arches resting on a column). Certain atypical characteristics seem to indicate the particular social status of its patron (avant-corps equipped on two levels with large stone chimneys, and openings with cushioned seats). Building of rectangular plan, with a pavilion forming an avant-corps at the south angle. To the south are the dwellings, to the north the agricultural part with stables and barns. Until 1964, the building was covered in slate.
