The manor of Goasfroment, situated at the borders of the communes of Plouézec and Lanloup, not far from the strand of Bréhec, is distinguished by a main dwelling built at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, flanked by two small symmetrical pavilions whose first storey is constructed in timber framing, a formula all the more rare in a rural dwelling in that it is not only a structural device, but a decorative element in its own right, like the façades of certain urban houses in Saint-Brieux, Paimpol or Lanvollon built at the same period. The second remarkable element of the main dwelling is a large interior stone staircase, added in the first years of the 18th century by the owners, Olivier du Fresne and Jeanne de Leshildry. The annexed buildings have been altered or destroyed (dovecote) and the footprint of the original property is considerably reduced.
